MISSION STATEMENT
“Link Line Community Services is
a community based Social Enterprise, dedicated to the relief of
stress and anxiety in older and other vulnerable people caused as a
result of loneliness, poor health, isolation, income, quality of
housing, social needs and deprivation.
We aim to deal with these issues by providing
regular contact by telephone and in person, through provision of
services directly to our members, ensuring they retain the support
needed to remain independent, with an improving quality of life and
within their own environment.
We are founded on strong partnerships with the
local strategic services and other organisations involved in the
welfare and well-being of the those whose health, mobility or
circumstances could put their quality of life at risk.”
A pro-active telephone calling operation (24/7 x
365 days), outreach support (home visits, keeping medical
appointments, prescription/pension collection, shopping, shopping
trips, social events), bereavement support, signposting, advocacy,
cleaning, gardening, handy-man maintenance. |
